Newrez is seeking a Senior Homeowner Advocacy Analyst - Servicing to join our Compliance team. The role focuses on investigating and resolving borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries with precision, while providing clear, well-documented communications.

You will manage caseloads, analyze trends, and collaborate across departments to strengthen mortgage servicing policies and controls. Excellent writing skills and attention to regulatory detail are essential for success in this on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; professional certifications are advantageous.
• 5+ years’ experience in business controls, compliance, or audit.
• 5+ years’ experience in the mortgage industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting mortgage regulatory mandates and evaluating servicing documentation.
• Experience researching mortgage accounts to identify and rectify errors.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Strong focus on accuracy and presenting complex information clearly.
• Develops knowledge of federal/state consumer protection laws and mortgage regulations.
• Manages caseloads ensuring timely follow-up and closure per standards.
• Resolves complaints efficiently with minimal customer effort.
• Supports remediation activities and compliance reviews.
• Evaluates compliance matters through trend analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns.
• Designs and tests mortgage compliance review policies and procedures.
