CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is hiring a Sr. Correspondent Purchaser in Irvine to oversee end-to-end purchase of closed correspondent loans.

You will act as the primary liaison with seller partners, ensure documentation quality, and resolve title and funding issues while aligning with investor requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams to maintain data accuracy in LOS, monitor pipelines, and stay current on regulatory changes that affect purchasing procedures.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• 5+ years in mortgage industry in correspondent lending, loan purchase, post-closing, or due diligence.
• Experience managing multiple purchase files and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of loan documentation, collateral review, title clearance, and investor requirements.
• Attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems.

Responsabilidades

• Review and audit closed correspondent loan packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve all pre-purchase conditions including liens and title issues.
• Maintain clear communications with sellers to clear conditions and expedite purchases.
• Enter, verify, and manage loan data in the LOS and tracking tools.
• Coordinate with QC, Funding, and Accounting to reconcile discrepancies and funding transfers.
• Ensure purchases comply with federal/state laws and investor requirements.
• Monitor pipelines to ensure timely certification and purchase.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting purchasing procedures.
• Serve as SME and mentor junior staff on correspondent purchasing practices.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and loan quality.
