Qualifications

3+ years of dedicated MongoDB design and administration.
5–7+ years overall database administration/engineering experience.
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass CBP background check.
Hybrid schedule available in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

Design and document logical and physical data models for NoSQL and relational systems.
Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain MongoDB environments.
Administer and maintain PostgreSQL/Oracle databases.
Tune performance; optimize queries and indexes.
Implement and enforce database security controls and RBAC.
Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Automate deployment and maintenance using Python, Bash, and IaC.
Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies with developers and stakeholders.
