Job summary

Nosis Bio in the California Bay Area (Marina Village, Alameda) seeks a Research Associate I/II/Snr RA to conduct molecular biology-based assays to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) properties of therapeutic candidates. Hands-on experience with high-throughput assays is preferred.

The role involves RNA/DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR/RT-qPCR and ddPCR, mammalian cell culture, data QC, and cross-functional collaboration to support drug discovery projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with RNA/DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR/RT-qPCR, ddPCR.
• Experience handling mammalian cell cultures and aseptic technique.
• Proficiency in basic data QC and analysis and reporting results.
• Ability to document protocols and data traceability in electronic lab notebook.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine molecular biology workflows including RNA/DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR/RT-qPCR, ddPCR.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, and master mixes; maintain RNase-free technique.
• Perform sample processing from cells, tissues, and biofluids; quantify and normalize data.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation in ELN; track protocols and raw data.
