Job summary

Lightspeed Restoration is seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Technician in the Greater Austin area to perform full-scope remediation and containment in line with IICRC S520, EPA guidelines, and DSHS rules. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience and a valid Texas Mold Remediation Worker License.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on mold remediation or related asbestos abatement experience.
• Texas TDLR Mold Remediation Worker License required.
• IICRC AMRT certification preferred — company pays for training if not held yet.

Responsibilities

• Containment & remediation: perform full-containment operations with barriers, negative air pressure systems, and decontamination chambers.
• Regulatory compliance & documentation: follow DSHS, EPA, OSHA guidelines; document field work and complete reports.
• Equipment & field operations: maintain PPE, HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, negative air machines, and dehumidifiers; ensure safe operation.
• Team & site leadership: oversee subcontractors, mentor entry-level staff, and communicate progress with project managers.
