Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Module Integration Engineer to drive yield, reliability, and performance improvements across NSPC module-related issues, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and leadership.

You will own defect and device/parametric yield issues, oversee experiments and team-based problem solving, and transfer advanced tech nodes from HQ. This role requires strong communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field is required.
• Advanced degrees can substitute fab experience.
• Experience in FEOL-related integration or unit process groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own module integration for specific process flow segments.
• Lead defects and yield-related investigations with design of experiments.
• Target critical dimensions and manage variation within the module.
• Conduct root-cause investigations for excursion material.
• Transfer advanced tech nodes from HQ.

Position Summary

The Module Integration Engineer is responsible for driving improvements in yield, reliability, performance, and the competitiveness of products. This position involves mitigating production risks from NSPC module related technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve NSPC issues. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with leadership and headquarters teams.

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 7+yearsinaFEOLrelatedintegrationorunitprocessgroupwithaBachelor’sDegreeorhigherinElectricalEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,MaterialsScience,Physics,Chemistryorrelatedfieldisrequired.


• Advanceddegreesinarelatedsubjectcanbeasubstituteforfabexperience.


• ExperienceinGAAintegrationorrelatedfabprocessespreferred.

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
