Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Operational Analyst Modeler to support the US Coast Guard.

The role develops software using open-source tools and simulations to meet design requirements and conduct analyses, wargames, exercises, and experiments. Based at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA with travel to VA/DC sites, you will collaborate with analysts, scientists, and engineers to build analytical models and communicate findings to diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Modeling & Simulation experience for N81, USCG, or other military service.
• Experience with one or more of the following tools: STORM, SWIFT, NSS, AFSIM.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical, modeling, and simulation skills to solve warfighting problems for USCG.
• Develop software using open-source tools and computer-based simulations to meet design requirements.
• Support engagement- and mission-level analyses, wargames, exercises, and experiments.
