Qualifications

Responsibilities

Have you developed models for aircraft, UAVs, missiles, spacecraft or other dynamic systems? The Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer will develop physics-based models and mission simulations to evaluate vehicle performance, explore design alternatives and shape future aerospace capabilities.

As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer your responsibilities will include

• Developing physics-based, 6-DOF and flight dynamics simulations for advanced aerospace vehicles
• Modelling trajectories, vehicle behaviour, engagements and mission performance
• Performing Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity analyses and engineering trade studies
• Building Python-based simulation tools, models and performance visualisations
• Translating simulation results into recommendations influencing system design, requirements and testing

As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer you will bring

• Experience in modeling and simulation, flight dynamics, GNC or mission analysis

• Experience with 6-DOF simulation, Monte Carlo methods or physics-based models
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics, trajectories, control systems or aerospace performance
• Ability to interpret simulation results and solve complex engineering problems

Experience with missiles, interceptors, UAVs, aircraft, spacecraft or autonomous systems would be particularly valuable.

Missile or defence experience is not essential. Engineers from commercial aerospace, space, autonomy and flight sciences are encouraged to apply.
