Job summary

Crowe LLP is seeking a Model Risk Manager within its consulting practice to lead and deliver model risk management projects for financial services clients. You will supervise teams, manage projects from planning to completion, and build trusted client relationships while exploring new services and solutions.

The role emphasizes advanced analytical work, communication with clients, and ability to work remotely with some travel. A strong background in finance and risk modeling is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in financial institutions, Big 4 or equivalent, or regulatory supervisory of financial institutions.
• Experience with model risk management regulatory guidance and various model types.
• Direct experience performing model validations or model development, including back testing and stress testing.
• Technical knowledge about data processing, data storage, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and review the work of other consultants.
• Manage key aspects of client service projects from planning to completion.
• Provide recommendations and develop trusted client relationships.
• Support proposals and business development by identifying target clients and presenting proposals.
• Lead development of new services and solutions by understanding industry trends.
