Job summary

The Josef Group seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (Mobile Workflows) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role combines hands-on development with strategic planning to automate and manage mission-critical mobile devices, dataflow, and infrastructure.

You will work with customers and stakeholders to operationalize mobile technologies and reduce operational complexity. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting data flows, enabling end-to-end automation, and developing complex CONOPs and test plans.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive experience interacting with mission customers.
• Experience with documentation tools (Confluence/Gliffy, Visio).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex dataflow and automation concepts.
• Experience guiding system development and planning through system engineering management.
• Experience assisting with development of system requirements and allocation to components.
• Automation of test cases using software tools and systems.
• Experience in an Agile environment with continuous delivery.
• Ability to support operational scenarios and monitor production tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex data flows for customers.
• Coordinate with Operations and Capabilities to enable end-to-end automation and testing.
• Develop and leverage relationships with data consumers and repository stakeholders.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues.
• Develop and document complex CONOPs clearly and concisely.
• Develop and implement test plans.
• Document tool development and testing.
