Sesame is building a voice-first mobile experience on iOS and Android. We are growing the mobile quality team and hiring our first dedicated automation engineer.

You will own mobile test automation, influence release readiness, and partner across disciplines to deliver the best product experience. You’ll automate onboarding, chats, payments, and notifications, triage flaky failures, and contribute to robust CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years in software QA / test engineering, incl. 4+ years mobile automation.
• Hands-on with mobile frameworks: XCUITest, XCTest, Espresso, Appium, Maestro, Detox, or similar.
• Strong scripting/programming; build harnesses and small tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own iOS and Android test automation in CI.
• Deliver a real quality signal on nightly, weekly, and release builds; keep parity between iOS and Android.
• Automate onboarding, chats, payments, notifications, and settings; verify outcomes beyond screen presence.
• Write clear bug writes to enable fast fixes by engineers.
• Help triage bugs and separate app, backend, OS, device, network issues.
