Job summary

Procentrix in Washington, DC is seeking a senior hands-on mobile engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise mobile apps supporting real-time communication, offline operations, and cloud-connected services.

You will collaborate with cloud, AI, security, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable mobile solutions with offline-first capabilities, peer-to-peer communication, and production-ready code.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mobile app development experience, including at least 4 years on iOS production apps.
• Experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Expo and related tooling (Expo SDK, Router, Modules).
• Familiar with React Native architecture concepts and performance optimization.
• Native iOS development with Swift and Xcode when needed.
• Experience integrating with APIs and cloud-hosted services.
• Experience supporting offline/low-connectivity apps.
• Security-focused mobile solutions and data protection practices.
• Ability to deliver production-quality software with minimal supervision.
• Experience in small, cross-disciplinary teams and strong communication.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications.
• Implement connected, disconnected, and offline-first capabilities.
• Integrate mobile apps with APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
