Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the release management for iOS, Android, and backend services. You will coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops to ensure reliable, high-quality releases and clear communications across teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining release calendars, conducting readiness reviews, managing feature flags, and supporting production deployments with robust rollback and incident response processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling mobile release cycles for iOS and Android.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with proactive stakeholder engagement.
• Background in mobile CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions and/or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes basics.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar for iOS, Android, and backend platforms.
• Coordinate release scope with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, QA, and Ops.
• Maintain alignment on priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
• Lead release readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions.
• Oversee build, test, and deployment stages of releases.
• Handle submissions to App Store and Google Play.
• Manage production feature flags across releases.
• Coordinate production rollouts and provide rollback support if needed.
