Job summary

Veriipro in Connecticut seeks an experienced Technical Test Lead / Quality Engineering Lead to drive testing strategy across Medicaid-related payer/provider systems, including QNXT/FACETS, and oversee test planning, execution, and defect management.

You will guide manual testing and mobile UI test automation, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure quality milestones are met using JIRA and other testing tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in US healthcare payer/provider domains, esp. provider affiliation, demographics, and contracting.
• Hands-on knowledge of Medicaid claims adjudication using QNXT or FACETS.
• Experience testing EDI 837 claims processing and adjudication.
• Knowledge of commercial healthcare plans and provider network management.
• Experience with provider contracts: setup, updates, terminations.
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and lifecycle.
• Experience in test planning, execution, defect tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with mobile app testing and mobile UI automation.
• Experience with JIRA and Rational testing tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, strategy development, scripting, execution, and defect management.
• Validate Medicaid provider affiliation, demographics, and contracting workflows in QNXT, FACETS, or similar.
• Test provider contract setup, updates, terminations across contracting apps.
• Validate EDI 837 claims processing and adjudication for Medicaid plans.
• Verify provider contracts and relationships affecting claims adjudication.
• Test commercial healthcare plans, provider classifications and business rules.
• Perform manual testing and mobile UI test automation planning/execution as applicable.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test data.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA and other tools.
• Prepare test plans, scripts, results, and status reports.
• Conduct result walkthroughs for clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics effectively.
• Ensure adherence to testing methodologies, quality standards, and timelines.
