Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA to lead automated regression testing for native iOS and Android apps.

You will build test infrastructure integrated with the AI-assisted code generation loop and collaborate with mobile engineers to prevent regressions and speed up releases. You will shape the QA strategy for a greenfield rollout, establish dashboards and SLOs, and ensure high-quality releases across the app’s mobile platform.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on mobile test automation.
Experience with XCTest, Espresso, or equivalent native testing frameworks.
Experience building automated regression infrastructure integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite, CircleCI).
Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin for reading, debugging, and writing test code.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

Own the design and implementation of automated regression test suites for native iOS and Android builds.
Build test infrastructure integrated into the AI code generation cycle, enforcing automation at commit time.
Partner with mobile engineers to close coverage gaps and fix flaky tests.
Architect the QA strategy for greenfield rollout and high-complexity regression coverage.
Establish quality dashboards and SLOs to monitor app stability and performance.
