The role emphasizes designing and executing automated mobile tests, prioritizing iOS coverage, and expanding to Android across cloud and real devices. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in mobile QA automation, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Appium, Sauce Labs, and Jira Xray, plus familiarity with CI/CD processes and healthcare

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mobile QA automation experience.
• Expert in Robot Framework and Appium for iOS and Android.
• Python skills to write custom keywords.
• Experience with cloud testing (Sauce Labs) and device labs.
• Familiar with Xcode, Android Studio, and ADB tooling.
• Strong test reporting and defect management with Jira Xray.
• English at least B2 level; healthcare/MedTech domain a plus.
• CI/CD, regression and exploratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated mobile tests using Robot Framework and Appium.
• Execute tests on Sauce Labs (cloud), local simulators/emulators, and physical devices.
• Prioritize iOS test coverage first, then extend automation to Android.
• Configure Appium desired capabilities for different environments and devices.
• Implement test reporting mechanisms, including PDF metadata validation.
• Upload and manage automated test results in Jira Xray.
• Define comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Perform manual regression and exploratory testing as needed to complement automation coverage.
• Manage defect reporting, triage, and tracking through resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability and architecture for testing.
