Job summary

Belfry is hiring software engineers in New York to build our mobile and frontend platforms using React Native and Expo. You will own substantial frontend work, contribute to the design system, and help shape Belfry's product and culture in a fast-growing startup.

You’ll occasionally tackle backend tasks and API work, mentor teammates, and participate in efforts to accelerate development with AI-powered tooling. Equity rewards reflect contribution and company growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with React and React Native (Expo).
• Strong frontend and mobile development ownership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve Belfry's mobile app (React Native/Expo) and extend to web.
• Improve UI, design systems, and observability across mobile and web.
• Contribute across the full stack when needed (APIs, backend, integrations).
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools to boost team velocity and quality.
