Job summary

A professional services provider in Fort Belvoir is seeking an experienced Mobile Handheld Fires Action Officer. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical expert for mobile targeting systems and ensure the end-to-end lifecycle of fire support systems. Responsibilities include providing operational input, supporting testing and fielding, and evaluating system performance. Qualifications

• Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a DOW secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting PM SWAR, PEO Soldier, or acquisition programs.
• Knowledge of JCIDS and DoD 5000 acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary fires SME for mobile targeting systems.
• Provide operational input into system requirements and design.
• Support Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and Soldier touchpoints.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of ATAK and handheld mission command systems

Familiarity with maintenance processes

Experience with sensor integration

Experience as a Preventive Maintenance Inspector

Education

High School diploma and 20 years of experience

Associate's degree and 16 years of experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of experience

Master's degree in a related field and five years of experience
