Job summary

Chase is seeking a senior mobile engineer to join an Agile team delivering trusted market-leading mobile products. You will design, implement, and maintain iOS and Android apps with a focus on security, performance, and reliability across devices.

You will apply AI-assisted development practices, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with UX/design to enhance user experience while adhering to SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in at least one mobile-relevant programming language.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business and teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Adopt AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
• Use SDLC/TLM tools to maximize automation value and quality.
• Design and build secure, production-grade mobile solutions and architectures.
• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Develop and maintain Android apps using Java and Kotlin.
• Review and improve code for quality and maintainability.
• Optimize performance across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Android.
• Deliver complex front-end implementations for large mobile apps with automated testing.
• Collaborate with UX/design to prototype and implement features enhancing UX.
• Apply Agile practices and support SRE for reliability and delivery excellence.
