Job summary

Olo, a leading restaurant technology company, is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to shape the Olo app. You’ll contribute to native iOS development in Swift, influence both iOS and Android roadmaps, and work with a Mobile Engineering Manager and a four-person mobile team based in Northern Ireland.

This is a fully remote role within NI. You’ll mentor peers, lead code reviews, reduce technical debt, and ensure scalable, high-quality code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically focused on native mobile development.
• Advanced proficiency in native iOS development using Swift.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, with hands-on experience using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices, with a strong emphasis on automation for testing and deployment.
• Leadership skills such as mentoring peers, leading technical discussions, and collaborating effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own complex features from concept to delivery.

• Collaborate with Product to refine requirements and ensure aligned solutions.
