Job summary

Digital Turbine is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, build and maintain high-performance Android SDKs and on-device services, with cross-platform iOS work as the footprint grows.

You will drive reliability, power efficiency and security while partnering with OEM and carrier teams to ship features under tight constraints. You will own end-to-end lifecycle, instrumentation, and rollout strategies, mentoring peers to raise code quality in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production mobile software with Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Obj-C) experience.
• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, concurrency, memory and battery profiling.
• Experience shipping SDKs, libraries, or framework-level code consumed by other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-performance Android SDKs and on-device services; iOS work as cross-platform footprint grows.
• Drive down install and delivery failures by improving package-manager reliability and dynamic app-delivery.
• Collaborate with OEM and carrier teams to ship features within platform, privacy and resource constraints.
• Own the full lifecycle of what you build: instrumentation, alerting, rollout strategy, A/B testing and on-call for services.
• Raise the bar on code quality through reviews, automated testing and tooling; mentor other engineers in mobile best practices.
