Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a senior-level mobile and cloud engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable solutions for enterprise-scale applications. You will leverage AI-enabled tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery while maintaining high security and reliability.

The role requires hands-on expertise in React Native with native iOS/Android experience, strong scripting, and cloud-native practices in Azure.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field and seven+ years in enterprise/mobile app development and cloud delivery.
• Multiple years of React Native development with at least one year of native iOS/Android experience; experience with large-scale apps.
• Design, code, integrate, secure, and deploy mobile apps and platform capabilities (REST APIs, authentication, secure storage, performance, mobile security).
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Strong scripting, automation, and DevSecOps using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and IaC.
• Familiarity with Agile, SOA, enterprise integrations, observability, and cloud-native Azure technologies.
• Ability to influence technical decisions, evaluate risks, collaborate across stakeholders, and communicate complex solutions; healthcare experience preferred.
