CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise mobile applications within a modern technology environment. This role focuses on building reliable mobile solutions, integrating applications with APIs and external systems, improving application performance, and supporting established DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
This opportunity is ideal for a senior mobile developer who enjoys analyzing business needs, building scalable applications, improving the end user experience, and guiding less experienced developers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mobile engineering experience along with expertise in application integration, database connectivity, testing, and production support.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and software developers to deliver mobile solutions that meet organizational needs, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
Hours: Standard business hours

Pay: Competitive rate based on experience, education, and credentials

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W2 employment. No sponsorship and no corp to corp arrangements are available.
- Design, develop, test, and support enterprise mobile applications
- Analyze business information systems, applications, and tools to identify and implement mobile solutions
- Conduct needs, trend, feasibility, and performance assessments
- Translate business and user requirements into scalable mobile application functionality
- Develop and maintain mobile user interfaces and application features
- Integrate mobile applications with REST and SOAP APIs
- Connect mobile solutions with internal databases and external systems
- Work with backend services developed using .NET Core
- Support integrations involving Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases
- Conduct code and configuration audits to assess accuracy, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot mobile application, API, database, integration, and performance issues
- Recommend and implement improvements to application design, performance, productivity, and user experience
- Coordinate mobile application releases, deployments, installations, and ongoing technical support
- Create and maintain technical documentation, software user guides, and development standards
- Develop and document best practices based on management and end user feedback
- Use Git for source control and follow established DevOps and CI/CD standards
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Agile development activities
- Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve application and business system issues
- 10 or more years of software development experience
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise mobile applications
- Experience building scalable and user focused mobile application functionality
- Experience integrating mobile applications with REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working with .NET Core backend services
- Experience integrating applications with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience integrating mobile applications with internal and external systems
- Experience using Git for source control
- Experience working with established DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of mobile software development standards and best practices
- Experience conducting code reviews, configuration audits, and performance assessmentsStrong testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working within Scrum or Agile development environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring less experienced developers
