Job summary

Imaginary Cloud in the United States is a remote-first software and UX/UI design company. We seek an experienced Mobile Developer with 5+ years of mobile development and 3+ years of Flutter expertise to build and deliver high-quality apps for global clients.

You will work in a flexible, human-centric culture with strong growth opportunities, remote work, and exposure to modern tech stacks including Flutter, Dart, and state management. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mobile Development experience.
• 3+ years of extensive hands-on Flutter experience.
• Strong command of Dart syntax, OOP, null-safety, async/await, Generics.
• Deep understanding of Flutter widget tree and state management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, local data persistence, and caching.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end release processes.
• Proficient in Flutter testing (Unit, Widget, Integration).
• Experience deploying to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Proficiency with Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and Claude Code.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Nice to have: Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift/Obj-C for iOS.

We would love to have you onboard if you have hands-on experience in the following areas:

5+ years of Mobile Development experience

• 3+ years of extensive hands-on experience using Flutter
• Strong command of Dart syntax , Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), sound null-safety, asynchronous programming (async/await, Future, Stream), generics, and extension methods.
• Deep understanding of the Flutter framework: widget tree, stateful vs. stateless widgets, custom widgets, keys, rendering pipeline, and efficiently managing rebuilds.
• Solid experience with modern State Management solutions (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider) and scalable mobile architectures.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs (using http or dio), handling error logic, retry mechanisms, and request interceptors .
• Experience with local data persistence and caching (e.g., SQLite, Hive, Isar, or SharedPreferences).
• Proficiency in writing well-designed code with strong experience in the Flutter testing ecosystem (Unit, Widget, and Integration Testing).
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise).
• Hands-on experience with the end-to-end release process , including managing certificates, provisioning profiles, and deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Outstanding proficiency in using Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and Claude Code to accelerate code development, refactoring, and complex debugging.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Nice to have: familiarity with native mobile languages (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS) to handle MethodChannels and platform-specific integrations.
