Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior lead to architect and develop an enterprise mobile application solution. You will drive technical requirements gathering, define work scope, and create design specifications while supporting IT teams as a technical expert for mobile apps and IS development projects.

You will mentor junior developers and testers, lead complex programming or integrations for mobile solutions, and guide projects to deliver robust, scalable platforms across Android and iOS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Related field with five years in development
• Five years of programming in enterprise-level apps with 5,000+ employees
• Experience with mobile application development (Native Android/iOS or cross‑platform)
• Lead technical requirements with cross-functional teams and vendors to update roadmaps

Job Description

This position performs the leadership, programming, and analysis required to develop the architecture given for an enterprise mobile application solution. It requires participation in the gathering and compilation of technical requirements and materials for the following work-related tasks; scope of work definition, project documentation, design specification documents, functional requirements, work effort estimations and other development related deliverables as deemed necessary. Supports the IT team as a technical expert for mobile applications, Information Systems development projects, product integration projects and work requests. Becomes a mentor to junior members of the development and testing team. Supports the development of complex programming or integrations for mobile solutions and leads projects in support of these efforts.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with five years’ work experience in a company setting responsible for development in one or more of the following languages: Springboot, Angular, SQL, XML, JAVA, .Net, JavaScipt or other necessary programming languages.

Five years of programming experience must be in a company environment supporting enterprise level applications with greater than 5,000 employees

Experience with mobile application development a must, Native Android/iOS languages Java, Kotlin, Swift, Cross-Platform Flutter Dart, React Native JavaScript, VS Code IDE

Lead technical requirements with cross functional teams and vendors to continuously update the roadmap for mobile application functionality and business need
