Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer to drive the evolution of our mobile apps. You’ll lead architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver features across iOS, Android, and AppleTV, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and velocity.

You’ll collaborate with product, UX/UI, and DevOps to shape the mobile roadmap, while adopting modern practices and cross‑team mentoring in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building high quality mobile applications
• Able to bootstrap completely new applications from concept to publishing on app stores
• Experience with React Native for cross‑platform iOS/Android/AppleTV
• Experience building native modules using Swift, Kotlin and Java
• Experience consuming REST APIs and implementing authentication/authorization in mobile apps
• Proven ability to work with AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and velocity

Responsibilities

• Lead feature and architecture improvements for the mobile apps
• Mentor team members on mobile development best practices
• Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools within the team
• Code daily to implement key features and fix issues
• Create and maintain automated test frameworks
• Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, and DevOps to align roadmaps and pipelines
