Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an experienced Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Chemistry section on first shift.

The role includes performing tests, interpreting results, and ensuring accurate operations in a busy clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in medical technology or related field, ASCP/AMT/AAB certification, and at least 3 years of laboratory experience, with Chemistry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science required.
• 3 years of laboratory tech experience required.
• Chemistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and interpret results using established procedures.
• Develop, maintain and manage daily technical operations, including staff training and education.
• Oversee instrumentation implementation and accreditation readiness.
