Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Machine Learning / MLOps Engineer to bridge ML research and production systems. You will develop, fine-tune, deploy, and scale state-of-the-art models, and lead end-to-end MLOps pipelines across multi-GPU workloads.

You will collaborate with ML researchers and data scientists to translate breakthroughs into robust, production-ready AI solutions, leveraging Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) in a hybrid cloud setup.

Qualifications

• Production ML experience: hands-on in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying ML and foundation models in production environments.
• Strong Python programming with deep expertise in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Proven experience building and operating MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, model tracking, registry, monitoring).
• Experience deploying ML workloads on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Solid software engineering practices (testing, version control, code quality, automation).
• Experience managing multi-GPU workloads and optimizing inference/training performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy ML and foundation models into production environments.
• Build, scale, and operate end-to-end MLOps pipelines, including CI/CD for ML, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and observability.
• Deploy and manage ML workloads on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) with high availability and security.
• Optimize multi-GPU workloads for performance and resource usage.
• Uphold software engineering standards with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML researchers and data scientists to translate research into production-ready systems.
