Job summary

Google occupies Sunnyvale, CA, seeking software engineers to build scalable ML frameworks for training large models, including LLMs and diffusion models, on Google Cloud. You will tackle ML infrastructure, deployment, and data processing within a fast-paced environment.

Roles involve designing, developing, testing and deploying software, with opportunities to switch teams as projects evolve. Competitive compensation includes the US salary range plus bonus, equity and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development (e.g., Python).
• 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and working with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 5 years of experience with one or more ML areas such as speech/audio, RL, ML infrastructure, or related fields.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver ML frameworks to perform training at LLMS and diffusion models for Google Cloud customers.
• Design and implement AI frameworks software for ML workloads in the cloud that enables language modeling, diffusion, rankings and recommendations.
• Identify and resolve issues in software, performance, and topology.
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers and other teams to deliver high-quality products and features.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
