General Motors is seeking a Senior ML Systems Engineer to own end-to-end ML systems for autonomous vehicles. You will design scalable data labeling tools and collaborate across ML, data, product teams to ship features that improve labeling, data quality, and training data at scale.

The role blends frontend/backend work with ML-driven workflows, emphasizes performance, observability, and reliability, and offers hybrid work in Sunnyvale with relocation support.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience building robust distributed platforms and applications.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate understanding and delivery of new capabilities.
• Proficiency in writing and reviewing high-quality, scalable full-stack code using Python, TypeScript, Go, React, SQL, GraphQL.
• Strong fundamentals in OOD, data structures, algorithms, testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Experience developing and operating cloud-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Build high-impact labeling experiences with scalable frontend and backend components.
• Develop automation and tooling to provide ML engineers deep insight into labeling workflows and data quality.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to design ML-driven data annotation and autolabeling loops.
• Champion AI-powered development workflows to increase velocity while maintaining quality.
• Own projects end-to-end from framing to rollout, including design reviews and technical decisions.
• Collaborate across the AV stack with ML, Ops, Product, Data Science and other platform teams.
