Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Scientist for Siri Speech in Cupertino. You will advance dialog systems, speech recognition, and multimodal models, with a strong emphasis on privacy and production deployment across Apple devices.

You will collaborate with world-class engineers and researchers to push the state of the art in NLP, speech, and multimodal AI, shaping experiences for iOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS. A PhD or equivalent research track is valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in deep learning with publication record in relevant conferences or a track record in applying deep learning techniques to products
• Proficient programming skills in Python and one of the deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensorflow
• Experience with conversational AI or multimodal LLM and large-scale ML training/evaluation

Responsibilities

• You will work with engineers and scientists to tackle core dialog and foundation model problems and deploy novel DL technologies into production
• Advance state-of-the-art in NLP, speech and audio modeling, and multimodal learning with a focus on Siri integration
