Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning research.
• Publication record in relevant ML conferences and/or speech conferences.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch.
• Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra and statistics.
• PhD, or equivalent practical experience, in Computer Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Push the boundaries of machine learning research with a focus on on-device speech models.
• Collaborate with researchers to advance ASR and speech-language models.
• Publish results in top conferences and prepare technical reports and talks.
• Collaborate with broader teams across Apple to disseminate findings.
