Flagship Labs FL129 is seeking a Senior Scientist to help build a novel platform for generative chemistry and molecular modeling, with a strong emphasis on collaboration between experimental and computational teams.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in ML or computational biology with 5+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with protein/ligand modeling, and excellent communication skills for a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in machine learning, computational biology, or a related field with 5+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience.
• Experience with generative chemistry and molecular modeling.
• Experience with protein language modeling and protein structure prediction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, validate, and apply novel generative chemistry and molecular models.
• Curate training datasets and design benchmarks to assess model performance.
• Collaborate with wet lab scientists to drive key project goals.
• Translate experimental data into actionable insights and present results to the team.
