Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a skilled ML/cheminformatics scientist to conceive and implement novel computational approaches. You will develop and optimize models predicting molecular properties, design experimental workflows, and collaborate across science teams to advance drug discovery.

The role requires deep learning expertise, Python proficiency, and familiarity with cloud tools. You will explore generative models, affinity prediction methods, and communicate modeling rationale to project

Qualifications

• Develop ML models related to chemical and biological data.
• Theoretical and practical understanding of scientific discipline.
• Expertise deploying ML solutions and cheminformatics tools.
• Experience with molecular generation, pose/affinity prediction, PK properties.

Responsibilities

• Consult with project teams to establish quantitative targets for optimization.
• Identify models to predict small molecule binding affinities and PK parameters.
• Build and benchmark predictive models for relevant endpoints.
• Select appropriate models for each query molecule using data-driven approaches.
• Communicate rationale for model choices and their applicability.
