Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior ML Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead business analysis and product ownership for a cross-functional Agile team focused on payment optimization. You will drive end-to-end development of ML/AI products, translating strategy into actionable delivery and aligning stakeholders to measurable outcomes.

This is a one-year contract position with potential to convert to full time based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Analysis, Product Owner, or related role.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured product initiatives with clear business value.
• Experience delivering real-time, customer-facing ML products.
• Knowledge of modern data ecosystems, pipelines, and ML lifecycle concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requests and translate them into high-level requirements.
• Prepare detailed user stories and functional specifications.
• Identify product opportunities and inform go-to-market strategy through data analysis.
• Evaluate data availability, quality, and sourcing to inform solution design.
• Own and manage ML product roadmaps.
• Define and prioritize objectives with Product Management and stakeholders.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Drive delivery planning and prioritization at quarterly and sprint levels.
• Oversee execution and validate completed work against acceptance criteria.
• Represent the team in cross-team meetings and drive collaboration across teams.
