Job summary

Apple Inc. is looking for a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join the ML Platform team in Cupertino. You will design and build scalable model training and fine-tuning infrastructure, enabling rapid experimentation and deployment across Apple Ads and related products.

You will work with ML engineers and scientists to deliver high-quality platform capabilities while upholding privacy standards. You will influence architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and help scale ML workflows from

Qualifications

• Experience building shared ML platforms used by multiple teams.
• Deep understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, eval, deployment.
• Expertise in DL architectures (Transformers/LLMs) and frameworks.
• Experience applying ML at scale in ads/recommendations/info retrieval.
• Experience distributed training at scale and optimization techniques.
• Experience building AI/ML tooling for fine-tuning and training.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Technical leadership with fast-paced collaboration.
