Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a leader in ML platform engineering to design and develop secure, scalable back-end systems that empower Ads teams to deliver high-quality ML features and models while protecting user privacy.

You will collaborate with ML engineers and scientists to build end-to-end ML infrastructure, from data pipelines to deployment and monitoring, enabling experimentation and rapid iteration across advertising products.

Qualifications

• Experience writing mission-critical code for production machine learning systems.
• Experience building ML infrastructure used by multiple teams.
• Experience building or operating feature stores for production models.
• Experience with embedding management and serving embeddings at scale.
• Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, evaluation, deployment, and serving.
• Working knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience applying ML at scale in advertising or recommender systems.
• Experience with training data generation across multi-modal data (text, image, structured).
• Experience building production data pipelines for ML systems with scale and performance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
