Job summary

Apple, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Intelligence Platform in Seattle. You will design and build the core platform enabling state-of-the-art ML, LLMs, and Generative AI to power Apple products used by hundreds of millions of people daily.

You will collaborate across teams to train, qualify, deploy, and serve models, refine systems and APIs, and translate research into scalable applications. A strong background in large-scale systems and threading is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms.
• Experience building on LLMs or other generative models.
• Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications.
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models.
• Design and refine systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• Understand and adapt new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments.
• Work with leadership across Apple to define policy.
