Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Sr. ML Ops Engineer to own the productionization of predictive models. You will build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure, partner with Data Science, Data Product Management, Product Engineering, and Data Platform teams, and automate model deployment with robust governance and monitoring.

The role emphasizes real-time predictions, cost-aware scaling, and secure data practices while enabling seamless collaboration across stages of the ML lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering or ML Ops.
• Strong Python programming and DS/ML package experience.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.
• Experience deploying models with MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data management, distributed computing, and architecture.
• Proven experience delivering real-time models in production.
• Background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Optimizes orchestration processes for efficient deployment of models.
• Manages resources to minimize costs while maximizing performance.
• Monitors security, performance, and scalability of ML infra.
• Collaborates with data scientists and software engineers across the ML lifecycle.
• Develops tools for data analysis, experiment tracking, and artifact management; supports data/model governance.
• Creates monitoring to detect model drift and performance issues in production.
• Develops automation scripts to improve ML Ops efficiency and reliability.
• Optimizes ML workflows for scalability and reliability.
• Provides mentorship and technical assistance to the team; escalates issues as needed.
• Supports risk management and data security commitments.
