Job summary

Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC is seeking an ML Ops Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize cloud-based analytics platforms on AWS SageMaker. This hands-on role emphasizes automation, modernization, and secure, scalable platform engineering.

You will collaborate across Cloud Engineering, InfoSec, DevOps, and analytics teams to deliver reusable patterns, runbooks, and cost-optimized solutions while supporting migration and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cloud-based platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS and SageMaker with automation focus.
• Strong scripting in Python and shell.
• Proven IaC, Terraform and CI/CD experience.
• Security, observability, and cost-optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enhancements for AWS-based Analytics and Data Science platforms, with focus on SageMaker.
• Develop automation for platform provisioning, administration, maintenance, and recurring activities.
• Improve platform scalability, resiliency, observability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis to implement durable solutions.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD patterns, including Terraform and GitLab deployments.
• Improve platform access, identity, integration, and self-service capabilities.
• Address security and vulnerability remediation through automation and platform engineering.
• Identify cloud cost optimization / FinOps improvements.
• Contribute to Domino platform engineering and modernization activities as needed.
• Support SAS Grid Exit activities, including migration enablement and decommissioning.
• Develop reusable engineering patterns, docs, and runbooks.
• Knowledge transfer for Domino, VTM, cost optimization and platform engineering responsibilities.
