Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning Infrastructure and Quality in Seattle. You will drive ML training, inference, and characterization while shaping testing and quality across the ML stack.

You will define and implement automated tests, build infrastructure and services to facilitate validation, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality software for Apple silicon servers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hardware/software development lifecycles.
• 5+ years of experience in one or more compiled languages (e.g. C, C++, Objective-C/Swift).
• Experience with Machine Learning and common frameworks.
• Understanding of Operating System concepts.
• Ability to craft, maintain and implement tests plans across layers.
• QA and automation experience with ML workflows is a plus.
• Capable of delivering results under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive ML training, inference, and characterization across ML workloads.
• Define, measure and improve quality of ML technologies by building infrastructure, automation, and services for validation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive automated test plans.
• Work cross-functionally with teams across Apple, championing quality software development.
