Job summary

Apptronik is building Apollo, a general-purpose humanoid robot, and the physical AI that drives it. We seek a Senior Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure to create self-serve data and model pipelines—from data collection, through curation, training, and evaluation, to a qualified model running on real hardware.

This hands‑on role supports researchers and engineers across MLOps, Autonomy, Data Platform, and TeleOp.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering in ML platforms, data infrastructure, or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build the ML platform APIs, workers, and control planes for data and models end-to-end.
• Create data curation and labeling workflows with strong data lineage.
• Develop scalable data pipelines handling multi-terabyte datasets and GPU-fed training data.
• Implement evaluation and simulation harnesses with parallel GPU workloads.
• Build and manage the model store and promotion path from training to deployment.
