Job summary

Waymo in Mountain View, CA seeks an experienced ML engineer to build production ML infrastructure for real-time pricing, matching and positioning decisions.

You will design experiments, monitoring, and analysis tools for deployed models, and develop simulation environments to evaluate marketplace optimization. The role requires a strong background in backend programming (C++) and advanced CS degrees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production ML models.
• Technical leader experience.
• 6+ years programming in backend languages.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years ML design & ML infrastructure (deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging).
• Experience building/deploying ML models including reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

• Create ML infrastructure for training and deploying optimization and prediction models in real time.
• Build experimentation, monitoring and analysis infrastructure for deployed models.
• Develop simulation infrastructure for marketplace optimization and model evaluation.
