Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to own our machine learning sales forecasting capability end to end.

You will design, build, and productionize forecasting models that drive planning, inventory, and revenue decisions across the business. You'll work with a modern Google Cloud stack (BigQuery, Vertex AI) to train, deploy, monitor, and improve time series and demand forecasts, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate questions into measurable business

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer with production models.
• Strong experience with time series or demand forecasting.
• Advanced Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and BigQuery SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Vertex AI or similar cloud ML platforms.
• Hands-on MLOps experience (CI/CD for models, pipelines).
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and deploy ML-based sales forecasting models for short- and long-horizon predictions.
• Engineer features and prepare training data in BigQuery with SQL transformations.
• Train, tune, and deploy models on Vertex AI with custom training jobs and pipelines.
• Stand up model monitoring and drift tracking to keep forecasts reliable.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate questions into forecasts.
• Establish forecast accuracy benchmarks and drive continuous improvement.
