Apple, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join Siri Global in Cupertino. You will design, build, and deploy advanced ML systems that power Siri across devices and languages, focusing on accuracy, speed, reliability, and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in computer science, software engineering, machine learning, language technologies, or related fields; exceptional candidates with a BA/BS plus extensive experience may be considered
• 10+ years of experience shipping and measuring ML-based software systems; large-scale NLU experience is a plus
• Experience as a senior engineer, tech lead, or engineering manager mentoring teams and communicating metrics to stakeholders
• Expertise in Large Language Models or foundation models, with publications or shipped features
• Strong background in ML, deep learning, and foundation models with demonstrated impact
• Excellent software engineering skills in OO languages (Java, C++, Objective-C, Swift) and scripting (Python) with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, CoreML
• Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
