Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with strong math/statistics foundation.
• 4 years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Experience in ML, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java with production-grade ML systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Design features and build large-scale ML models to improve relevance, ranking and personalization.
• Develop ML systems for search ranking, semantic retrieval, and personalized discovery.
• Advance ML via LLMs, embeddings, and multi-modal learning.
• Build ML pipelines with Spark, Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow; ensure reproducibility and scalability.
• Define KPIs to evaluate model impact and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data science teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent and promote technical excellence.
