Capital One seeks a Machine Learning Engineer 4 in McLean, VA to design, build, and deploy ML models at scale. You will collaborate with product and data science teams, optimize ML infrastructure, and maintain models in production using cloud platforms and containerized architectures.

Requires 4+ years of Python/Java/Golang/C++, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with Spark/Ray and Kubernetes. Strong focus on scalable data pipelines, reproducible experiments, and responsible AI practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering).
• At least 4 years of experience programming with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
• At least 4 years of Machine Learning experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• At least 4 years of experience using and operating large scale distributed systems (Spark, Ray).
• At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating Machine Learning solutions in production and operating production services in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and using Kubernetes to manage large scale containerized ML software systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components solving real-world business problems with Product and Data Science teams.
• Inform ML infrastructure decisions including model choice, data and feature selection, training, and validation.
• Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production and ensure responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable ML software and data pipelines.
