Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a senior AI/ML Engineer to join the AI/ML Engineering team. You will design and deploy AI-powered features across the full stack, build scalable APIs, and integrate models into production with robust observability.

You will own the ML pipeline end-to-end, including data, training, and evaluation, collaborating with diverse teams. The role is remote-friendly and based in a globally distributed company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in production environments.
• Exposure to working directly with AI/ML technologies.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production with inference APIs and vector databases.
• High ownership to drive features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Applied ML in Python with Jupyter, PyTorch, Ray/Slurm; experiments to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered features across the full stack, from backend to frontend within ClickHouse Cloud.
• Create robust APIs connecting database capabilities with AI/ML inference systems.
• Maintain integrations with broader AI/ML ecosystems and standards.
• Integrate models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
• Participate in daytime on-call rotation with the team.
• Own the ML pipeline end-to-end from data through training and evaluation.
