Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable ML systems, architect integrations across our stack, and set engineering standards for ML deployment. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to bring high-impact ML capabilities into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of experience delivering complex ML systems in production.
• Strong expertise in ML/AI tech (grad boosting, DL, generative AI).
• Experience deploying real-time ML products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with MLOps: monitoring, drift detection, retraining pipelines.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle from requirements to release for complex ML initiatives.
• Architect and build high-performance AI/ML layer for DFM AI + IQE integration with Teamcenter/Designcenter.
• Develop cloud-based production systems powering real-time endpoints and MLOps.
• Tackle cross-domain technical challenges and deliver solutions meeting business goals.
• Set process improvements and multi-quarter roadmaps for technical objectives.
• Champion quality and security with automated testing and secure software dev practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and keep pace with advances in ML/AI.
