Job summary

Xometry, a leader in on-demand manufacturing, is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in Lexington, KY. You will own end-to-end ML initiatives, architect high-performance AI/ML layers, and drive real-time pipelines that connect our platform to partner ecosystems.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-impact ML capabilities at scale. You will lead with technical depth, advance MLOps practices, and contribute to a culture of quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM and 6–8 years of ML engineering in production.
Experience deploying real-time ML products at scale in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with MLOps: monitoring, drift detection, retraining and redeployment pipelines.
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle from requirements to release for complex ML initiatives.
Architect and build real-time AI/ML integration layers with partner systems.
Develop cloud-based production systems powering real-time endpoints and MLOps.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable ML solutions.
Mentor engineers and drive best practices in testing, security, and observability.
